　　您提出的关于“增加英文版垃圾分类资料”的建议收悉，现答复如下：

　　一、工作情况

　　（一）根据您提供的附件，我局已请专业人士将《致居民的一封信》《生活垃圾分类的分类和投放方法》译成英文，为下一步有针对性地对外籍人士进行广泛宣传奠定基础。

　　（二）从今年6月起，我区全面启动“离桶近一点”党员进社区手把手教分类宣教行动，充分发动回社区报到党员、志愿者等入户宣讲垃圾分类意义和方法，累计开展入户宣传1179场、户外活动824场，入户24.05万家，并坚持每周末组织志愿者开展“百场活动进社区”特色宣传、每月开展“垃圾分类全民行动日”活动，有效增进了居民的分类意识。其中，在新港、赤岗街等较多外籍人士居住的街道组织英文能力较强的党员、志愿者等上门入户宣传，引导外国友人积极参与生活垃圾分类，共同营造干净舒适生活环境。据统计，共对200余户外籍人士进行了面对面的宣传引导。

　　二、下一步计划

　　（一）完善分类指引。指导街道在有外国人居住的小区增设英文投放标识和清晰指引，便于外籍人士在规定的投放时间内准确投放生活垃圾，养成良好分类习惯。

　　（二）深入宣传发动。加强居民入户指引，提高垃圾分类投放准确率；充分利用全媒体、融媒体开展宣传，促进垃圾分类理念得民心、入人心。

　　（三）加强高校联动。充分利用辖内高校英语系学生的专业优势，组织其参与垃圾分类宣传，加强对外籍人士资源循环利用知识及垃圾分类知识的普及。

　　致居民的一封信

　　A letter to residents on waste sorting

　　“垃圾围城”污染着空气、饮水和土壤，严重影响我们现时的生活和后代，垃圾分类，势在必行，迫在眉睫，请大家自觉做到：垃圾分类收集，定时定点投放，杜绝乱倒垃圾、乱泼污水、高空砸物等不良行为。

　　The air, water and soil are polluted, the “city besieged by waste” is seriously affecting our live and next generation. It is imperative and urgent to sort the waste. Please do it consciously: classify and collect the waste regularly, put an end to bad behaviors, no littering, no sprinkling sewage, and no falling objects.

　　能卖拿去卖，有害单独放，干湿要分开。请您将纸张、金属、塑料等可回收物拿去卖；将灯管、纽扣电池、充电电池、电子产品等有害垃圾投放到红色桶；将剩下的饭菜、鱼刺、瓜果皮等餐厨垃圾沥干水后投放到绿色桶，其他垃圾投放到灰色桶；大件垃圾请放在小区指定的临时堆放点。各位居民可按照公示的投放点分布图，就近投放垃圾。

　　Sell what can be sold, put the hazardous waste alone, and separate the dry and the wet. Please collect and sell the recyclable waste like the paper, metal, and plastic; collect the hazardous waste such as the lamp tubes, button batteries, rechargeable batteries and electronic products into the red bin; after draining the household food waste, collect the leftovers, fish bones and fruit peels into the green bin; and then collect other wastes into the grey bin; please place the large waste at the temporary site where is designated in the community. Residents can dispose the waste nearby according to the distribution map that has been publicized.

　　从2019年XX月XX日起，新港街XXXX(小区）进行强制撤除楼层垃圾桶，实行生活垃圾“定时定点分类破袋投放”，请您每天晚上18：00-21：00时投放餐厨垃圾；上午7：00-9：00和晚上18：00-21：00投放其他垃圾，将垃圾分成“干湿”两袋，移步到楼下就近的分类投放点投放，请不要再把生活垃圾放在楼道。

　　Since XX, 2019, waste bins must be forced to remove from the floors, and the household waste must be “sorted, opened, collected and thrown at regular place on schedule”. Please collect and throw the household food waste at 18:00-21:00 PM every day; and collect and throw other wastes at 7:00-9:00 AM and 18:00-21:00 PM. Please divide the wastes into two bags “the dry one and the wet one”, go downstairs and throw at the waste sorting site nearby. Please do not dump the household waste in the corridor.  

　　为养成“家里分好类，定时拎下楼，定点精准投”的好习惯，我们倡议：迅速行动起来，参与垃圾分类，讲公德、讲卫生，提高生活质量！

　　For the good habit "sorting at home, carrying downstairs on schedule, throwing regularly", let’s propose to act quickly, participate in waste sorting with morality, stress on hygiene and improve our living quality!

　　生活垃圾的分类和投放方法

　　Sorting and Throwing Household Waste

　　根据《广州市生活垃圾分类管理条例》，居民生活垃圾分为以下四类：

　　According to the Regulations on Household Waste Soring in Guangzhou, the household waste shall be classified to be four categories as follows:

　　（一）可回收物，是指适宜回收和可循环再利用的物品，包括废塑料、废玻璃、废金属、废织物等。

　　I. Recyclable waste refers to items that are suitable for recycling and reusing, including the waste plastic, waste glass, waste metal, waste textile, etc..

　　（二）餐厨垃圾，是指居民家庭中产生的易腐烂、易变质发臭的废弃物，包括菜头菜尾、肉蛋食品、瓜果皮核、剩菜剩饭、糖果糕点、宠物饲料、水培植物等。

　　II.  Household food waste is the garbage that is rotting or stinking easily during the household life, including the wastes before or after cooking, meat, eggs, fruit peels and nuts, leftovers, sweets and pastries, and even the pet foods and hydroponic plants and so on.  

　　（三）有害垃圾，是指生活中对人体健康或者自然环境

　　造成直接或者潜在危害的物质，包括废电池、废灯管、废药品、废化学品、废水银、废胶片相纸等。

　　III. Hazardous waste refers to substances that cause direct or potential harm to the human health or the natural environment, including waste batteries, waste lamps, waste drugs, waste chemicals, waste mercury, waste film and photographic paper, etc..

　　（四）其他垃圾，是指除了餐厨垃圾、有害垃圾、可回收物之外的居民家庭生活垃圾，主要包括污损纸巾、烟头、一次性干电池、陶瓷制品、骨头贝壳、清扫的渣土等。

　　IV. Other wastes are the household wastes other than the household food waste, hazardous waste and recyclable waste, mainly including the soiled tissues, cigarette butts, disposable dry batteries, ceramic products, bones and shells, and rubbishes after cleaning up.
